THE FOUR PILLARS OF
KIN GAMES
DANCE PILLAR
​The Kin Games conference begins with a morning full of dances. Each school performs a 90-second dance that they've been preparing for all year. The dance is based on that year's theme. Schools are scored based on the given rubric by our elite judges.
SPORT PILLAR
During the conference, teams compete in four different sports. All sports are inclusive and non-traditional. Some of our past favourites are tchoukball, handball, dodgeball, Australian football, bubble soccer, and much more.
ACADEMIC PILLAR
During the conference, teams will compete in four different academic events. These events highlight different aspects of our hosting school's programs. They relate to the programs our students are currently in and often include some sort of fitness challenge to increase difficulty.
SPIRIT PILLAR
This is assessed all year round. Teams will do multiple pre-conference challenges including a fundraiser event for our cherished motionball organization. Spirit challenges will also be delivered during the conference and the rest is done through observation. Teams hype each other up and keep the KG energy bumping all weekend long.
Night Events
Every evening has prescheduled events, which allow you to mingle with the other schools and experience the night life of the hosting city.
